Day tours in the Nahanni
Watson Lake is only an hour away from the Nahanni National Park Reserve with our Cessna Caravan. We can accommodate groups of up to 7 people for sightseeing trips within the Nahanni park boundaries.
Any trip can be personalized and we can adapt to most requests and constraints. Below a short selection of options available:
- Partial day trip, featuring the Virginia Falls
- Full day trip, featuring Virginia Falls and Tufa Mounds (Rabbitkettle lake)
- Fly over of most significant landmarks: Virginia Falls, Tufa Mounds, Cirque of the Unclimbables, Vampire peaks, Glaciers and more
As of 2023, day trips to the Nahanni are only available from June to August.

From turquoise lakes to dramatic peaks, the Rockies offer some breathtaking sights! We offer local tours with any of our floatplanes based in Watson Lake and can accommodate groups of up to 7 people. Besides the beauty of this part of the world, you will get to experience take-off and landing on the water… This is quite the thrill and for many an experience of a lifetime!
The tours last a minimum of 20 minutes and are charged by the air time - which means you only pay for the time between take-off and landing.
