Drive up to Toad River BC with your 2 best fishing pals (or more). We will fly you to Scoop Lake, about 80 miles due West at the upper end of the Rocky Mountains trench. The flight is roughly 40 minutes, and is already an experience on its own. As we get closer to Scoop Lake, the wilderness of the Northern Rockies and the incredible beauty of the turquoise water lakes will catch your eye.
Once at Scoop Lake, you will be astonished by the quietness of this remote fly-in only place. The Outfitter will welcome you with drink and cookies as you discover the facilities.
You will spend 5 days / 4 nights in this gorgeous setting, unless you fall in love and decide to stay longer - which likelihood is pretty high. Your cabin is oriented towards the lake and features a fire place as well as a shower. You will have access to fishing gear, boat and all kinds of fun activities. And because a well-fed fisherman is a happy fisherman, you will be treated with some mind-blowing meals made with organic locally-grown produce.
The fishing is so good that it’s common to walk the shorelines or wade to catch fish. In the spring and early summer, Northern Pike in the lake will be concentrated in the southern bay and the most northerly shoreline. The water is so clear at Scoop that it’s common to “sight-cast” to Pike early in the season when they venture onto the shallow sandbars in search of Whitefish.
